बुरहानपुर की ताप्ती नदी से लगातार रेत का अवैध खनन की जिला प्रशासन को शिकायतें मिल रही थी, लेकिन जब दल कार्यवाही करने जाता तो अवैध रेत खननकर्ता पहले से ही भाग खडे हो जाते थे लिहाजा कलेक्टर राजेश कौल के निर्देश पर बुरहानपुर एसडीएम केआर बडोले ने पहले मोटर सायकर पर टी शर्ट पहन कर ताप्ती नदी के राजघाट पर पहुंचे उसके बाद दल को बुलाया अचानक एसडीएम को मोटर सायकल पर देख अवैध खननकर्ताओं में हडकंप मच गया और अवैध खननकर्ता ट्रेक्टर ट्रॉली छोड कर भाग खडे हुए दल ने 5 रेत से भरे ट्रेक्टर ट्रॉली को जप्त कर केस बनाया।
