    വാവരുനടയിലും വടക്കേനടയിലും ഓരോ ബാരിക്കേഡുകൾ വീതമാണ് മാറ്റിയത്. ഹൈക്കോടതി നിർദേശത്തെ തുടർന്നാണ് നടപടി. നടതുറന്ന ശേഷം രാവിലെ പതിനൊന്നു മണി വരെ വടക്കേ നടയിൽ തിരുമുറ്റത്ത് തീർഥാടകർക്ക് വിശ്രമിക്കാവുന്ന തരത്തിലാണ് പുതിയ സംവിധാനമെന്ന് ഐ.ജി ദിനേന്ദ്ര കശ്യപ് പറഞ്ഞു.
    ശബരിമലയിൽ രാത്രി 11 മണിക്ക് ശേഷം തീർത്ഥാടകരെ തടയരുതെന്നും കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ടൂ വേ ടിക്കറ്റ് നിർബന്ധിക്കരുതെന്നും ഹൈക്കോടതി നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു.
    കലാകാരന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ശബരിമലയിൽ അവരുടെ കലാപരിപാടി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിയന്ത്രണം ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് കോടതി ചോദിച്ചു.
    ശിവമണിക്ക് നടപന്തലിൽ പരിപാടി അവതരിപ്പിക്കാൻ അനുമതി നിഷേധിച്ച സംഭവം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു കോടതിയുടെ ചോദ്യം. ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡ്‌ വിശദീകരണം നൽകണമെന്നും കോടതി നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതേസമയം, ശബരിമലയിലെ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്കായുള്ള മൂന്നാംഘട്ട പൊലീസ് സംഘം സേവനം തുടങ്ങി.
    ഐ ജി എസ് ശ്രീജിത്തിനാണ് സന്നിധാനത്തെയും പമ്പയിലെയും ചുമതല.
    നിലയ്ക്കല്‍, വടശേരിക്കര, എരുമേലി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ സുരക്ഷാ മേല്‍നോട്ടം ഇന്റലിജന്‍സ് ഡിഐജി എസ് സുരേന്ദ്രനാണ്. സന്നിധാനത്ത് കോഴിക്കോട് റൂറല്‍ ഡിസിപി ജി ജയ്ദേവും ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് എസ്പി പി ബി രാജീവുമാണ് ഉണ്ടാവുക. മൂന്നാം ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ 4,026 പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ ആകെ സേവനത്തിനുണ്ടാകും.
    അതേസമയം, സന്നിധാനത്തേക്കു തീർഥാടകരുടെ പ്രവാഹം.
    പതിനെട്ടാംപടി കയറാനും ദർശനത്തിനും 3 മണിക്കൂർവരെ നീണ്ട കാത്തുനിൽപ്പ്. വൈകിട്ട് 6 വരെയുള്ള (18 മണിക്കൂർ) പൊലീസിന്റെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് 67,044 പേർ ദർശനത്തിനായി മലകയറി മണ്ഡലകാലം തുടങ്ങിയ ശേഷം ഇത്രയും തിരക്ക് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടത് ഇന്നലെയാണ്.
    ദർശനത്തിനായി സോപാനത്തിൽ എത്താൻ എപ്പോഴും മേൽപ്പാലത്തിൽ തിങ്ങിനിറഞ്ഞ് അയ്യപ്പന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതേപോലെ പതിനെട്ടാംപടി കയറാൻ ക്യുവും കാണാമായിരുന്നു. സന്നിധാനം വലിയ നടപ്പന്തലിൽ പുലർച്ചേ 3 മുതൽ 8 വരെയും ഉച്ചക്ക് 1.30 മുതൽ രാത്രി 8 വരെയും 2 വരി ക്യു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മരക്കൂട്ടത്ത് നിയന്ത്രിച്ചാണ് അയ്യപ്പന്മാരെ സന്നിധാനത്തേക്കു കടത്തിവിട്ടത്.
    ഹർത്താലായിരുന്നിട്ടും തിരക്കേറിയ ഓട്ടത്തിലായിരുന്നു പമ്പയിലും നിലയ്ക്കലും കെഎസ്ആർടിസ
