    ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ രുദ്രമയി ക്ഷേത്രക്കുളത്തിലാണ് ആട്ടിന്‍കുട്ടിയെ വലിച്ചെറിയുന്നു
    ഇതിന് പിന്നാലെ 9 യുവാക്കള്‍ കുളത്തിലേക്ക് ചാടുന്നു. നീന്തിരക്ഷപെടാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ആടിനെ പിടിക്കാനായി ഇവര്‍ മത്സരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരാളുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു പിടിവിടുവിക്കാന്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ ആടിനെ ശക്തിയായി വലിക്കുന്നു. ആടിനെ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ത്തന്നെ നിരവധി തവണ പൊക്കി മലര്‍ത്തിയടിക്കുന്നു. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ക്രൂരമായി ആടിനെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാണ് ആചാരം.ഒര് ആടിനെ വെള്ളത്തിലേക്ക് വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞ് അതിനെ കൊല്ലാന്‍ 45 മിനിറ്റ് വരെയാണ് പ്രാപരിധി. ഈ നിശ്ചിത സമയത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ആട് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടില്ലെങ്കില്‍ എല്ലാവരും ചേര്‍ന്ന് വെള്ളത്തില്‍ വച്ച് തന്നെ കഴുത്തു ഞെരിച്ചു കൊല്ലും.
