    क्या AMU में वाकई जिन्ना को एक महान पुरुष के रूप में महिमा मंडित करने का काम हो रहा है। ये हम नहीं कह रहे बल्कि ये तस्वीरें कह रही हैं और तस्वीर कभी झूठ नहीं बोलती। बात कुछ दिन पहले की है जब AMU छात्र संघ कार्यालय में जिन्ना की तस्वीर लगे होने को लेकर काफी हंगामा हुआ। छात्रों के प्रदर्शन के दौरान उन पर लाठी चार्ज तक हुआ लेकिन जिन्ना की तस्वीर अभी भी उस छात्र संघ कार्यालय में लगी हुई है। जिन्ना विवाद पर AMU प्रशासन ने भी यह कह पल्ला झाड़ लिया था कि छात्र संघ एक स्वतंत्र संस्था है जो छात्रों द्वारा चुनी जाती है। AMU प्रशासन का उस पर कोई दखल नहीं है। जिन्ना की तस्वीर हटने पर सिर्फ छात्र संघ ही निर्णय कर सकता है। लेकिन आज जो तस्वीरें आप देख रहे हैं वो AMU की विश्व प्रसिद्द लाइब्रेरी मौलाना आजाद लाइब्रेरी की हैं और इस लाइब्रेरी पर AMU प्रशासन का ही नियंत्रण है। यहाँ गांधी जयंती को लेकर एक प्रदर्शनी लगाईं गई। इसमें महात्मा गांधी से सम्बंधित कई किताबें और तस्वीरों को रखा गया था। मीडिया को जानकारी मिली कि इसमें महात्मा गांधी के साथ साथ जिन्ना की भी कई तस्वीरें लगी है। मीडिया जब लाइब्रेरी पहुंची तो वाकई लाइब्रेरी के हॉल में जो प्रदर्शनी लगी हुई थी उसमे महात्मा गांधी के साथ जिन्ना की कई तस्वीरें लगी हुई थी। यानि छात्रों के बीच महात्मा गांधी के साथ साथ जिन्ना का भी महिमा मंडन किया जा रहा था। मतलब छात्रों को तस्वीरों के जरिये ये बताने की कोशिश की जा रही थी की जिन्ना महात्मा गांधी के कितने नजदीक थे।
