Amanda Bynes came one step closer to disaster Thursday night when she was driving around West Hollywood -- on a suspended license -- and got into an accident ... though, luckily, it was minor.

Amanda was driving her black BMW 5-series out of a parking lot on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM when she tapped the bumper of a white car in front of her, leaving little or no damage.
According to our camera guy ... Amanda was attempting to cover her face when she love-tapped the other vehicle -- and both drivers left without exchanging information on the scene.

It's unclear if the other driver reported the fender bender to cops, but it's a damn good bet Amanda and her suspended license did NOT.

TMZ published photos of Amanda smoking a marijuana pipe during a day of aimless driving around the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday.

Those pics and Amanda's recent driving record -- DUI arrest, multiple hit-and-run allegations -- have several cops worried she's going to kill someone on the road.

    Amanda Bynes caught smoking 'pipe' while driving illegally

    Things keep going from bad to worse for Amanda Bynes, with the 26-year-old actress snapped driving around Los Angeles on a suspended licence and smoking out of what appears to be a marijuana pipe.

    According to TMZ, Bynes was seen taking multiple hits out of the pipe that was designed to look like a car's cigarette lighter.

    Amanda's licence was suspended on August 25 after she was charged over two hit-and-runs, but that didn't stop her hitting the road.

    Reports say the former Disney star began her day-long adventure in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant, smoking from the pipe and eating tacos. She then drove to a spa, emerged three hours later and "drove without purpose for several hours", ending up at a home improvement department store, where she, you guessed it, took a hit from the pipe in the parking lot.

    Despite her obviously dangerous behaviour, friends and family are having trouble getting through to the actress.

    "Amanda is refusing to go to rehab or seek any form of psychiatric treatment or diagnosis, because it's clear something is up with her," a close friend told Radar Online.

    "Amanda's completely gone off the grid. She won't speak with her manager, her agent, her publicist; she's not returning anybody's phone calls."

    Driving around illegally on a suspended license, Hollywood actress Amanda Bynes met with a minor accident bumping into another car.

    The incident happened two days after the 26-year-old starlet was photographed smoking a marijuana pipe while driving around, reported TMZ.

    The 'She's The man' star came close to disaster Thursday night when she was driving her black BMW 5-series out of a parking lot on Sunset Boulevard when she tapped the bumper of a white car in front of her, leaving little or no damage.

    The LAPD's Valley Traffic Division has determined that the former What I Like About You star was involved in a possible hit-and-run accident on Aug. 4 and will be turning their investigation over to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office.
    It will then be up to prosecutors to determine whether to press charges against Bynes, who is already facing a misdemeanor DUI charge from the L.A. City Attorney's Office stemming from her April 6 arrest after dinging a police car in West Hollywood.

    Bynes did stop two weeks ago after her now-notorious BMW rear-ended another woman's Toyota on Ventura Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley, Lt. Andrew Neiman told the Los Angeles Times. But, he said, Bynes failed to provide the woman with her insurance information as required by law and took off without calling police.
    Bynes told authorities that she and the woman mutually agreed that the accident wasn't significant enough to report, Neiman said, but it was determined afterward, when the woman filed a police report anyway, that the other car sustained roughly $800 worth of damages.
