लोक निर्माण विभाग स्वारघाट के विश्राम गृह में नयनादेवी ब्लॉक कांग्रेस की विशेष बैठक आयोजित की गई है। बैठक की अध्यक्षता नयनादेवी ब्लॉक कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष रणजीत सिंह ठाकुर ने की है। प्रदेश के पूर्व मंत्री व नयनादेवी विधानसभा के मौजूदा विधायक रामलाल ठाकुर व प्रदेश सचिव विकास ठाकुर भी विशेष रूप से बैठक में मौजूद रहे हैं।

    हिमाचल प्रदेश में भले ही बारिश थम गई हो मगर बीते कुछ दिनों में भारी बारिश ने जो तबाही मचाई थी नेशनल हाईवे और ग्रामीण इलाकों की सडकों पर कुुुछ दिन पहले देखने को मिला थी भारी बारिश के चलते चण्डीग़ढ़ मनाली एनएच-205 पर 35 जगहों पर लैंडस्लाइड हुआ था जिसे प्रशासन व पीडब्लूडी विभाग की टीमों ने मिलकर लगातार हाईवे को क्लियर करवा दिया था . वहीँ दूसरी ओर अगर बात करें स्वारघाट से लगते ग्रामीण इलाकों की तो लैंडस्लाइड के चलते लिंक रोड सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हुए थे

    जिला बिलासपुर के अंतर्गत उपमंडल स्वारघाट में व्यापार मण्डल की अगुवाई में स्वारघाट बाजार में रोष रैली निकालते हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया है। व्यापार मंडल स्वारघाट ने विरोध प्रदर्शन करते हुए प्रदेश सरकार से मांग की है कि प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र स्वारघाट में जल्द डॉक्टर को तैनात किया जाये। अन्यथा जनता को चंडीगढ़-मनाली नेशनल हाईवे पर चक्का जाम करने को मजबूर होना पड़ेगा। स्वारघाट बाजार व एसडीएम कार्यालय के बाहर प्रदर्शन के बाद एसडीएम स्वारघाट सुभाष गौतम को ज्ञापन सौपॉ गया है।

    चंडीगढ़-मनाली मार्ग बन्द होने के चलते स्वारघाट में फंसी एचआरटीसी की बस में एक अढाई माह की बच्ची की मौत हो गईं।मृतक बच्ची का नाम केतकी पुत्री परमेरी निवासी बहादरपुर यूपी बताया जा रहा है। बाद में स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से मृतिका को बल्लियां स्थान पर दफना दिया गया है। बता दें कि आर्थिक तौर पर कमजोर होने के कारण प्रभावित परिवार के पास ना ही तो किराए के लिए पैसे ना ही खाने के लिए पैसे बचे थे।इसके चलते ही स्थानीय लोगो ने उन्हें 3500 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता दी है। बच्ची को दफनाने के बाद परिवार वापस यूपी चला गया है।
