    കഴിഞ്ഞ നവംബറിലാണ് ഗൂഗിളിന്റെ സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയാ സേവനങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസ് അടച്ചുപൂട്ടുകയാണെന്ന് കമ്പനി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്.
    2019 ഏപ്രില്‍ രണ്ട് മുതല്‍ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസ് സേവനം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കും. ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച അറിയിപ്പ് ഗൂഗിള്‍ ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് അയച്ചുതുടങ്ങി.ഉപയോക്താക്കളുടെ കുറവും ഉപയോക്താക്കളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷയ്‌ക്കൊത്തുയരുന്ന ഉല്‍പ്പന്നമാക്കി നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നതില്‍ വെല്ലുവിളികളുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടുമാണ് ഈ തരുമാനമെന്ന് ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ക്കയച്ച സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസിനൊപ്പം നിന്ന ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞ ഗൂഗിള്‍, ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ട തുടര്‍നടപടികളും വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
    ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസിലെ ഉള്ളക്കങ്ങള്‍ നീക്കം ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രക്രിയയ്ക്ക് മാസങ്ങളെടുക്കും. അതുവരെ ഉള്ളക്കങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെതന്നെയുണ്ടാവും. അതായത് ഏപ്രില്‍ രണ്ടിന് ശേഷവും ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസ് ഉള്ളടക്കങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ആക്റ്റിവിറ്റി ലോഗില്‍ കാണാന്‍ സാധിക്കും. ജി സ്യൂട്ട് ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസ് ഉള്ളടക്കങ്ങള്‍ നീക്കം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നതുവരെ കാണാന്‍ സാധിച്ചേക്കും.
    ഏപ്രില്‍ രണ്ട് മുതല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലസ് അക്കൗണ്ടും നിങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ച ഗൂഗിള്‍പ്ലസ് പേജുകളും പിന്‍വലിക്കപ്പെടും.
    അന്ന് മുതല്‍ തന്നെ ഉപയോക്താക്കളുടെ വിവരങ്ങളെല്ലാം നീക്കം ചെയ്തു തുടങ്ങുമെന്നും ഗൂഗിള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
