    राजगड उत्सवाचे पुण्यात आयोजन शिवाजी महाराजांच्या ३५२ वा आग्य्राहून सुटका स्मृतीदिन

    त्याकाळात शिवाजी महाराजांनी अचूक टायमिंग साधत औरंगजेबाच्या तावडीतून स्वत:ची व सहका-यांची सुटका करुन घेतली. त्यामुळे प्रत्येकाने इतिहासाचे स्मरण आणि भविष्याकडे वाटचाल हे सूत्र अंगिकारुन यश संपादन करायला हवे, असे मत महापौर मुक्ता टिळक यांनी व्यक्त केले.
    - पुणे महानगरपालिका आणि श्री शिवाजी राजगड स्मारक मंडळ, पुणे यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने ३५२ वा आग्य्राहून सुटका स्मृतीदिनानिमित्त किल्ले राजगड उत्सवाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. त्यानिमित्त पुण्यामध्ये सदाशिव पेठेतील भारत इतिहास संशोधक मंडळामध्ये लाक्षणिक पालखी प्रस्थान सोहळ्याचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. यावेळी इतिहास अभ्यासक डॉ.सचिन जोशी, सुशिलाबाई वीरकर शाळेच्या मुख्याध्यापिका मंगला निफाडकर, महापालिका उपायुक्त माधव जगताप, माजी नगरसेवक उदय जोशी आदी उपस्थित होते. उत्सवाचे यंदा ३८ वे वर्ष आहे. इतिहासामध्ये राजगडाचे खूप मोठे महत्त्व आहे. राजगडावरुन अनेक मोहिमा आखल्या गेल्या आणि यशस्वी झाल्या. ब्रिटीशांच्या काळात हा गड दुर्लक्षित होत गेला. परंतु लोकमान्य टिळकांनी पहिल्यांदा सिंहगड ते राजगड ची पायी वाट शोधली. त्यांनी राजगडावरील दुरवस्था पाहून तेथील सुरक्षा व तटबंटीबाबत आखणी देखील केली होती, अशी आठवण त्यांनी यावेळी सांगितली.
