മികച്ച ഡിസ്പ്ലേയാണ് ഫോണിലുള്ളത് ഫോണിന്റെ 6.01 സ്‌ക്രീന്‍ ഫുള്‍ എച്ച്ഡി+ ആണ് (1080x2160പിക്‌സല്‍സ് റെസലൂഷന്‍). ഒപ്ടിക് അമോലെഡ് (Optic AMOLED) ഡിസ്‌പ്ലെ എന്നാണ് കമ്പനി ഈ സ്‌ക്രീനിന വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അരികു കുറച്ചു നിര്‍മിച്ച ഡിസ്‌പ്ലെയും ഡിസൈനില്‍ വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന ചെറിയ മാറ്റങ്ങളും 5T മോഡലിനെ വ്യത്യസ്തമാക്കുന്നു. സ്‌നാപ്ഡ്രാഗണ്‍ 835 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 835) ശക്തി പകരുന്നു. ഇരട്ട ക്യാമറ വിപ്ലവത്തിന് അനുസരിച്ച് തന്നെയാണ് വണ്‍പ്ലസും നീങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. F/1.7 അപേച്ചറുള്ള, സോണിയുടെ 16MP (IMX 398) സെന്‍സറാണ് ഒരു ക്യാമറയ്ക്കുള്ളത്. അതേ അപേച്ചറുള്ള രണ്ടാമത്തെ ക്യാമറയില്‍ 20MP സെന്‍സറാണുള്ളത് (IMX376K).
