രാജ്യത്തെ സിലിക്കണ്‍ സിറ്റിയെന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ബെംഗളൂരുവിന് ഇനി സ്വന്തം ലോഗോയും


സ്വന്തമായി ലോഗോയുള്ള ആദ്യ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നഗരമായി മാറി ഇതോടെ ബെംഗളൂരു. വിധാന്‍സൗധയില്‍ നടന്ന നമ്മ ബെംഗളൂരു ഹബ്ബ ചടങ്ങില്‍ ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി പ്രിയങ്ക ഖാര്‍ഗെ ഔദ്യോഗികലോഗോ പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തു. രാജ്യന്തരതലത്തില്‍ ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക് സിറ്റി, സിംഗപ്പൂര്‍ എന്നീ വിദേശ നഗരങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ബെംഗളൂരുവിനും സ്വന്തമായ ലോഗോ നിലവില്‍വന്നു. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്, കന്നഡ അക്ഷരങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് ലോഗോ.
ആദ്യത്തെ രണ്ടക്ഷരവും അവസാനത്തെ അക്ഷരവും ചുവപ്പിലാണ്. മധ്യഭാഗത്തെ അക്ഷരങ്ങള്‍ കറുപ്പിലുമാണ്. ചുവപ്പ് അക്ഷരങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടിവായിച്ചാല്‍ ബി യു എന്നാകും. ക്രിയേറ്റീവ് ഡിസൈനറായ വിനോദ് കുമാറാണ് ലോഗോ രൂപകല്‍പ്പന ചെയ്തത്.'മറ്റുള്ളവരില്‍ ഒന്നും അടിച്ചേല്‍പ്പിക്കാന്‍ നമ്മള്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഇതാണ് നമ്മുടെ സംസ്‌കാരം, പാരമ്പര്യം. ബെംഗളൂരുവില്‍ ആരുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും ഹനിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. നമ്മുക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളത് ചെയ്യാം. ഇതാണ് ബി യു പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നത്'- വിനോദ് കുമാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതേമാതൃകയില്‍ കന്നഡയില്‍ മാത്രമായുള്ള ലോഗോയും പുറത്തിറക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ആഗോള വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരമേഖലയില്‍ ബെംഗളൂരു ബ്രാന്‍ഡ് ഉറപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ലോഗോ സഹായിക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പ്രയങ്ക ഖാര്‍ഗെ പറഞ്ഞു.
