മുത്തലാഖ് ബില്ലിന് കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗത്തിന്റെ അംഗീകാരം

ഒറ്റയടിക്ക് മുത്തലാഖ് ചൊല്ലി വിവാഹം വേര്‍പെടുത്തുന്നത് (തലാഖ്-ഇ-ബിദ്ദത്ത്) ക്രിമിനല്‍ കുറ്റമാക്കി വ്യവസ്ഥചെയ്യുന്ന ബില്ലിന് കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗത്തിന്റെ അംഗീകാരം.ബില്‍ പാര്‍ലമെന്റിന്റെ നടപ്പ് ശീതകാല സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി രവിശങ്കര്‍ പ്രസാദ് അറിയിച്ചു. വാക്കാലുള്ളതും രേഖാമൂലമുള്ളതും ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് രൂപത്തിലുള്ളതുമായ മുത്തലാഖിനെ തടയുന്നതാണ് പുതിയ ബില്‍.ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രി രാജ്‌നാഥ് സിങ് അധ്യക്ഷനായ മന്ത്രിതല സമിതി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ 'മുസ്ലിം വിമന്‍ പ്രൊട്ടക്ഷന്‍ ഓഫ് റൈറ്റ്‌സ് ഓഫ് മാര്യേജ് ബില്ലി'ന്റെ കരടുരൂപത്തിനാണ് മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗം വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച അംഗീകാരം നല്‍കിയത്. പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് സമ്മേളനം നടക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ ബില്ലിന്റെ വിശദാംശങ്ങള്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ മന്ത്രി തയ്യാറായില്ല.
