Covid second wave: Karnataka caps CT- Scan, X-Ray costs for private labs and hospitals
As Covid-19 cases in Karnataka continue to rise at an alarming rate despite lockdown measures in place, medical expenditure of many have increased as RT-PCR tests, radiology tests, etc., dig a huge hole in their pockets. Keeping these in mind, state Health Minister K Sudhakar on Friday announced that the government has decided to cap the price of CT-Scans and X-Rays in private hospitals and laboratories as these are necessary tests to ascertain the damage of the coronavirus infection.
