१२ मे म्हणजे जागतिक परिचारिका दिन. आजचाच दिवस जागतिक परिचारिका दिन म्हणून का साजरा केला जातो. कारण १८५४ साली झालेल्या "क्रिमियन युद्धातील" जखमी सैनिकांना मलमपट्टी करत हिंडणारी आद्य परिचारिका फ्लॉरेन्स नाईंटिंगेल यांचा आज जन्मदिन आहे. फ्लॉरेन्स नाईंटिंगेल यांना आधुनिक सुश्रुषा शास्त्राची संस्थापिका समजले जाते. स्वतःच दुःख विसरून रुग्णांच्या वेदनेवर मायेची फुंकर घालणाऱ्या या परिचारिकांना सलामी देण्यासाठी आजचा हा दिवस परिचारिका दिन म्हणून साजरा केला जातो. आजच्या या दिनाचे औचित्य साधून शहर शिवसेनेच्या वतीने केडगाव येथे पालीका आरोग्य केंद्रात परिचारिका चा सन्मान करण्यात आला. या प्रसंगी शहर बप्रमुख दिलीप सातपुते, नगर सेवक अमोल येवले, नगरसेवक संग्राम कोतकर यांच्यासहित शिवसैनिक आणि परिचारिका उपस्थित होत्या.

    ക്രിസ്റ്റഫര്‍ നോലന്‍ ഒരുക്കിയ ഡാര്‍ക്ക് നൈറ്റ് ഇറങ്ങിയിട്ട് ജൂലൈ 17 ന് പത്ത് വര്‍ഷം തികഞ്ഞു


    ജോക്കര്‍ എന്ന ക്രൂരനായ കഥാപാത്രം ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം നടന്ന് തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് പത്ത് വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.ഹീത്ത് ലെഡ്ജര്‍ എന്ന മഹാപ്രതിഭ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ആര്‍ക്കും പകരം വയ്ക്കാനാകാത്ത വില്ലന്‍.നോലന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതിലും എത്രയൊ അപ്പുറത്തായിരുന്നു ലെഡ്ജറിന്റെ ജോക്കര്‍. ഓസ്‌കര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ എണ്ണമറ്റ പുരസ്‌ക്കാരങ്ങളാണ് ലെഡ്ജറിന്റെ ജോക്കറെ തേടിവന്നത്. സിനിമ പുറത്തിറങ്ങാന്‍ ഏതാനും ദിവസങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രം ബാക്കിനില്‍ക്കെ ഹീത് ലെഡ്ജര്‍ ലോകത്തോട് വിടപറഞ്ഞു.ഡാര്‍ക്ക് നൈറ്റില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ വെറും ഇരുപത്തേഴ് വയസ്സുമാത്രമായിരുന്നു ലെഡ്ജറിന്റെ പ്രായം.ജോക്കറെ തലയിലേറ്റിയപ്പോള്‍ ലെഡ്ജര്‍ ഒരു വ്യക്തി എന്ന നിലയില്‍ സ്വയം ഉള്‍വലിഞ്ഞു. നാല്‍പ്പത്തി മൂന്ന് ദിവസത്തോളം ഒരു മുറിയ്ക്കുള്ളില്‍ അടച്ചിരുന്നു. ജോക്കറായി പ്രേക്ഷകര്‍ക്ക് മുന്‍പില്‍ എത്തുന്ന ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞ നടനാണ് ലെഡ്ജര്‍. എന്നാല്‍ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച വില്ലനായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ജാക്ക് നിക്കോണ്‍സന്റെ ജോക്കറിനോട് കിടപിടിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു ലെഡ്ജറിന്റെ പ്രകടനം. മെയ്ക്ക്അപ്പ് ആര്‍ട്ടിസ്റ്റിന്റെ സഹായമില്ലാതെ സ്വന്തം ഇഷ്ടത്തിനാണ് ലെഡ്ജര്‍ ആദ്യ ദിവസം ഒരുങ്ങിയത്.
