ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിത ജീപ്പ് ഇനി വിദേശരാജ്യങ്ങളിലും. തുടക്കത്തില്‍ 600 യൂണിറ്റുകളാണ് കയറ്റുമതി ചെയ്തത്.
ആഗോള കാര്‍ നിര്‍മാതാക്കളായ ഫിയറ്റ് ക്രിസ്‌ലര്‍ ഓട്ടോമൊബൈല്‍സിന്റെ (എഫ്.സി.എ.) ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നിര്‍മിത എസ്.യു.വി.യായ ജീപ്പ് കോംപസിന്റെ കയറ്റുമതി പ്രധാനമായും ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ, ജപ്പാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കാണ്. പുണെയിലെ രഞ്ജന്‍ഗാവിലുള്ള എഫ്.സി.ഐ. ഇന്ത്യ യൂണിറ്റിലാണ് കോംപസ് നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ പാദത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കോംപസ് കയറ്റുമതി ചെയ്യുമെന്നാണ് സൂചന.

കോമ്ബസ് എസ്യുവികളുടെ പാസഞ്ചര്‍ സൈഡ് എയര്‍ബാഗിലാണ് പ്രശ്നസാധ്യത കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. സെപ്തംബര്‍ 5 നും നവംബര്‍ 19 നും ഇടയില്‍ വിപണിയില്‍ എത്തിയ 1,200 കോമ്ബസ് എസ്യുവികളിലാണ് എയര്‍ബാഗ് പ്രശ്നം ഉടലെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതും.
2017 നവംബര്‍ 22 ന് ഫിയറ്റ് ക്രൈസ്ലര്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച രാജ്യാന്തര തിരിച്ച്‌ വിളിക്കല്‍ നടപടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ജീപ് കോമ്ബസ് എസ്യുവികളെ ഇന്ത്യയിലും തിരിച്ച്‌ വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.അമേരിക്കന്‍ വിപണിയില്‍ നിന്നും 7,000 ജീപ് കോമ്ബസുകളെയും കാനഡ, മെക്സിക്കോ പോലുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും 1,000 ജീപ് കോമ്ബസുകളെയും കമ്ബനി ഇതിനകം തിരികെ വിളിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു.
