    After the governor's rule in Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Army and security forces have got an open exemption to carry out counter-insurgency operations. To curb rising terrorist activities in the state, the Central Government has decided to deploy some National Security Guard (NSG) units in the Valley. The NSG will not only be able to fight directly with the terrorists in special circumstances, but also along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the CRPF will also be trained to compete with the militants in densely populated areas.
