लखनऊ के प्रेस क्लब में रिहाई मंच ने फ़र्ज़ी मुठभेड़ पर सवाल उठाने पर पुलिस की ओर से मिलने वाली धमकी को लेकर आज एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की जहां आजमगढ़ जिले के कंधरापुर थाना इंचार्ज अरविंद यादव पर धमकाने का आरोप लगाया।
इस प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में रिहाई मंच अध्यक्ष मोहम्मद शोएब, पूर्व पुलिस महानिदेशक आर एस दारापुरी, अरुंधति धुरु मौजूद रहे। वहीं पूर्व पुलिस महानिदेशक आर एस दारापुरी ने बताया कि रिहाई मंच के कर्मठ कार्यकर्ता राजीव यादव को फ़र्ज़ी एनकाउंटर पर सवाल उठाने पर आजमगढ़ जिले के कंधरापुर थाना इंचार्ज अरविंद यादव ने उनकी धमकी दी है। उन्होंने एक बड़ा खुलासा करते हुए कहा कि मैं अपने 32 साल के पुलिस एक्सपीरियंस से कह सकता हूँ कि पुलिस के एनकाउंटर्स 2 से 3 प्रतिशत ही सही होते हैं। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि जिस जनपद में या ज़िले में सबसे ज़्यादा एनकाउंटर की खबरे आती हो इससे साफ होता है कि पुलिस के ऊपर दबाव है। साथ ही उन्होंने बिगड़ी कानून व्यवस्था और महिलाओं पर हो रहे अत्याचार और बलात्कार पर बड़ा सवाल खड़ा किया।
इस दौरान पूर्व पुलिस महानिदेशक आर एस दारापुरी ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस फर्जी एनकाउंटर कर रही है। साथ ही कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश में फेक एनकाउन्टर में सबसे अधिक मुसलमान और दलित मारे गए है और जो लोग फेक इनकाउंटर के खिलाफ आवाज उठा रहे है उन्हें पुलिस झूठे केस में फसा रही है।
