    The Sensex wiped off all early morning gains of nearly 400 points to end down 68 points, or 0.19 per cent, at 35,905, with 17 issues advancing and 13 dropping. NSE barometer Nifty held on to the 10,800 mark as the index settled at 10,807, a loss of 29 points, or 0.26 per cent.

  • Sensex slips 87 pts, Nifty barely holds 11,550; financial stocks drag

    Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended lower in the volatile session on Friday with markets witnessing selling pressure in last hour of trade as investors awaited the release of inflation and industrial production data. After swinging 337 points during the day, the 30-share BSE Sensex settled 86.88 points or 0.22 per cent lower at 38,736.23. The index hit an intra-day low of 38,684.85 and a high of 38,684.85. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty dropped 30.40 points, or 0.26 per cent, to 11,552.50. During the day, it touched a low of 11,538.60 and a high of 11,639.55.

  • Sensex drops 106 pts, Nifty holds above 10,800; bank stocks fall | Jan 10, 2019

    Breaking its four-day rising spree, the BSE Sensex ended over 100 points lower Thursday on selling in banking shares amid negative cues from other Asian markets. After a volatile session, the 30-share index settled 106.41 points, or 0.29 per cent, down at 36,106.50, while the broader NSE Nifty fell 33.55 points, or 0.31 per cent, to finish at 10,821.60. The fall was led by banking stocks, with IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI declining up to 2.36 per cent .

At 09:18 AM, The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 36.69 points down at 39,030.64 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters. The Nifty index was trading 16.45 points down at 11,738.20.

In the video, the man is heard saying that he got oxygen supply from patients snapped for 5 mins. The man, in the video, added that this was part of an experiment to know who all will survive. Reports suggest the video is purportedly of Arinjay Jain, owner of Paras Hospital on NH 2. UP health dept has ordered a probe into the incident after the video went viral.
