    Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, found a new lease of life as it hit digital platforms last month. The unconventional social drama that destigmatizes several social ills that plague the Indian society at large - be it patriarchy, toxic masculinity, gender inequality, class distinction, etc - was loved and welcomed by the audience and the industry. While the film released in theatres, it found no takers but when it hit the OTT platforms, people watched it and lauded the lead cast's stellar performances. Here, Arjun, Parineeti and Dibakar opens up about the reception, battling career lows, hearing people call their careers to be 'over' and finally getting the validation from a film like SAPF. Parineeti shocks everyone when she discusses how people's perception affected her career and how she has fought patriarchy, sexism and gender inequality in life. Arjun, on the other hand, speaks about how crossdressing in the climax didn't hinder his decision like other male actors and how he has been constantly trolled and shamed for hus body weight.
