Karnah, April 29: To hear and redress public grievances in far flung areas, District Administration Kupwara held a grievance redressal camp at Tanghdar today.
District Development Commissioner Kupwara, held the public darbar which saw participation of the people in large number.
Sub divisional Magistrate Karnah, CEO kupwara ,Tehsildar Karnah, Exan PWD, BMO Tanghdar, BDO, sarpanches, prominent citizens besides local public attended the grievance redressal camp.
Local residents raised problems pertaining to PMGSY and R&B Roads, Education department, inadequate staff in health and Education departments,. They vociferously put forth several demands including improvements of roads condition, check on absenteeism in schools, up gradation of some schools, improve facilities in PHC's and restoration of damaged roads lack of principals in higher secondary schools.
While addressing the public on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers of the district and Tehsil administration to address the issues at grass root level and assert themselves in resolving local issues of public importance. The DDC on the occasion said that the relief shelter camp with arrangements of heating and other facilities will be established near Sadhna top this year so that in winters stranded passengers will not face any hardship during travel.ಇಂದ KASHMIR CROWN | 253 ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ
