NV Ramana: Man who put office of Chief Justice under RTI is the new CJI

Justice NV Ramana will take oath as 48th Chief Justice of India on April 24 and will have sixteen months tenure till August 26, 2022. Some of his notable judgements include bringing the office of CJI under the ambit of RTI and bringing an end to a year-long internet ban in Jammu and Kashmir in 2020.
