नॉर्थ दिल्ली के दया बस्ती इलाके में एक फैक्ट्री के अंदर सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट से 7 लोग गंभीर रूप से जख्मी हो गए। दरअसल शनिवार दोपहर कूलर के पार्ट बनाने वाले फैक्ट्री में गैस सिलेंडर इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा था उसी दौरान सिलेंडर मशीन से दबने के कारण जबरदस्त ब्लास्ट हुआ। बताया जा रहा है कि फैक्ट्री के पहली मंजिल पर 7 से 8 मजदूर काम कर रहे थे, सभी उसके चपेट में आ गए। आसपास के लोगों ने तुरंत घायलो को अस्पताल पहुंचाया और पुलिस को सूचना दी जिसके बाद फायर और रेसक्यू टीम ने मौके पर पहुँचकर आग पर काबू पाया। ब्लास्ट इतना भयंकर था कि इमारत की पहली मंजिल का पूरा हिस्सा बुरी तरीके से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया और साथ में नीचे खड़ी स्कूटर-बाइक के साथ आसपास की दीवार भी ढह गई। बताया जा रहा है कि दया बस्ती में सैकड़ों की संख्या में अवैध तरीके से फैक्टरी चलाई जा रही है जिसमें सिलेंडर के साथ कई ज्वलनशील पदार्थो का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।
