Sonia Gandhi addresses an election rally in Kolar (Karnataka)

Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, while speaking at an election Rally at Karnataka's Kolar on Wednesday, took an indirect dig at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi by saying that he was being projected as if he would cure all ills of the country like a magician. "An attempt is being made to hide the true face of one person with a mask; he is being projected as a cure for all ills and as a magician for the country," she said. The Congress President, without naming Modi, said some people were in a habit of projecting things in a big way, as if other states were not doing good work. "These days you can see all over the country huge and costly advertisements are being showcased and an attempt is being made by them to hide the truth," added Sonia Gandhi.
