Iniya asks Arulnithi about his future plan and he genuinely says he does not want to make money and wants to live a life with satisfaction. Iniya says that her sister wants her to go to Europe and study. Arulnithi advises her that she should be different. Instead of going to a place for money she should do service. Iniya is moved by his true character and hugs him. Arulnithi's mother notices this and warns him not to come home hereafter.

    Arulnithi escapes from the hospital and meets his college father to prove he is innocent. But his friends ditch him.He gets angry and beats them. Then he comes home and tells his brother that he found a bag in the entrance of his hostel room and police arrest him.His brother interrupts and says that he beat policemen at various places and was admitted for psychiatric treatment. Meanwhile he is injected medicine and taken back to the hospital. No one listens to him.

    Arulnithi, a college student, while using a PCO telephone, noticed that it does not work. He does not even get the coins back for unused calls. The owner of the shop tries to cheat him. Arulnithi breaks open the machine and takes his coin and goes. A constable sees this and tries to put him in false cases but is beaten by Arulnithi and he also surrenders himself to the police. Uma Riyaz Khan, the genuine police, warns the constable and sends Arulnithi back home.
