മുന്‍മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കാര്‍ക്ക് ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതികള്‍ വേണ്ട


മുന്‍മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കാര്‍ക്ക് ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതികള്‍ അനുവദിക്കുന്നതിനെതിരെ രൂക്ഷ വിമര്‍ശനവുമായി സുപ്രീം കോടതി.ഉത്തര്‍പ്രദേശില്‍ മുന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാര്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതികള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനെതിരെയാണ് സുപ്രീംകോടതി രൂക്ഷവിമര്‍ശനമുയര്‍ത്തിയത്. സ്ഥാനമൊഴിഞ്ഞ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാര്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതികള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് ഭരണഘടനാ വിരുദ്ധമാണെന്ന് ജസ്റ്റീസ് രഞ്ജന്‍ ഗൊഗോയ് അധ്യക്ഷനായ ബെഞ്ച് നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു. ഒരു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി സ്ഥാനമൊഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ അദ്ദേഹം സാധാരണ പൗരന്‍ മാത്രമാണെന്നും പിന്നെയും ഇത്തരം സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ അനുവദിച്ച് നല്‍കുന്നത് അംഗീകരിക്കാനാവില്ലെന്നും വ്യക്തമാക്കി. മുന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാര്‍ക്ക് ഇത്തരം സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് അനാവശ്യവും, വിവേചനപരവും, ഭരണഘടനാവിരുദ്ധവുമാണെന്നും കോടതി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക വസതികള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ആറ് മുന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാര്‍ക്ക് കോടതി നോട്ടീസ് അയയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
