    नहटौर के मौहल्ला अफगानान निवासी युवती की दिल्ली के मुस्तुफाबाद में ससुरालियों ने गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी। बताया जा रहा है कि दहेज़ में कार न मिलने से नाराज़ ससुराली युवती को आयदिन तंग करते थे और इसी के चलते उन्होंने युवती की हत्या कर दी।
    परिजनों के अनुसार नहटौर के मौहल्ला अफगानान निवासी युवती जीनत का विवाह 10 माह पूर्व दिल्ली के मुस्तफाबाद निवासी नवाज़िश के साथ हुई थी। परिजनों का आरोप है कि जीनत के ससुराल वाले दहेज स्वरूप कार की मांग करते थे और मांग पूरी न होने पर जीनत को प्रताड़ित किया जाता था। मांग पूरी न होने पर बीते दिन सोते समय ससुराल के लोगों ने जीनत की गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी और मायके वालों को सूचना देकर मौके से फरार हो गये। मृतका के परिजन आनन-फानन में दिल्ली पहुंचे और पुलिस को मामले की सूचना दी। स्थानीय पुलिस ने मृतका के परिजनों की तहरीर के आधार पर ससुराल के तीन लोगों के खिलाफ मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर लिया है और मृतका के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के उपरांत परिजनों को सौंप दिया। जहां से मृतका के परिजन शव को नहटौर लेकर आ गये।
