Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi visited Gauchar, Uttarakhand to address a public rally. While speaking on the occasion he promised for fast-track reconstruction efforts in calamity-hit parts of the hill state if the party comes to power at the Centre. "Women are the backbone of the country. You only not work in home but you take country forward. But we don't have enough women participation in Parliament," said Rahul Gandhi.
