नौजवान Sarpanch ने कायम की मिसाल, गांव को मिला National Award

बुलंद हौसले और ऊंची सोच के चलते हर इंसान कुछ भी हासिल कर सकता है। यह सच कर दिखाया है गुरदासपुर के गांव छीना के सरपंच पंथदीप सिंह ने। गांव छीना के सरपंच की तरफ से किए गए विकास कार्यों के लिए गांव को नैशनल अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया गया। दरअसल पंथदीप सिंह 2013 में सबसे कम उम्र और सबसे अधिक पढ़े लिखे सरपंच बने थे। उन्होंने गांव के विकास के लिए पूरी जी-जान से मेहनत की और गांव की नुहार ही बदल कर रख दी। उनकी तरफ से गांव में सिवरेज व्यवस्था, स्ट्रीट लाईटस, इंटरलाक टाइलस, बैठने के लिए लगाए गए बैंच, लगाए गए कूड़ादान विकास कार्यों की मुंह बोलती तस्वीर है । इसके इलावा गांव की हर गली का नाम किसी महान शख्सियत के नाम पर रखा गया है । गांव के सरपंच की तरफ से गांववासियों के सहयोग से किए इन विकास कार्यों के लिए 24 अप्रैल को पंचायती राज्य दिवस के मौके मध्य प्रदेश के जबलपुर में भारत सरकार की तरफ से दीन दयाल उपाध्याय सशक्तिकरन पुरुस्कार के साथ सम्मानित किया गया। अवार्ड लेकर वापिस लौटे सरपंच का ढोल-धमाकों से शानदार स्वागत किया गया।
