Patrick Swayze's Widow Lisa Finds Love Again After Patrick's Death Widow Engaged.Lisa Niemi got quite a Christmas present this year. Jeweler Albert DePrisco, 58, proposed to Niemi, 57, on Christmas Eve, reports People. Niemi, who lost her husband of 34 years, Patrick Swayze, to pancreatic cancer in September 2009, met her fiancé through mutual friends. They have been dating for a year and a half.
In 2010, she told People she was open to the prospect of remarriage: "I would love companionship love. Absolutely. I hope I'm not one of these women who never want to have another relationship," she said. "But who knows, that's another bridge I'll cross when I come to it. I may get there and go, I don't know. But I like to think that I can."
