આજે મહિલાઓ માટે ગર્વ લેવા જેવી વાત છે કે આપણાં સરંક્ષણ મંત્રી નિર્મલા સિતારામને પહેલા મહિલા રક્ષા મંત્રી છે કે જેઓએ જોધપુરમાં સુખોઇ-30 એમકે આઇની સફળ ઉડાણ ભરી હતી. ત્યારે મહિલા તરીકે ગર્વ થાય છે કે મહિલાઓ હાલ ક્યાં ક્યાં પહોચી રહી છે. ગુજરાતની મહિલાઓએ પણ ગુજરાતને ઘણું ગર્વ અપાવ્યુ છે. ચારણ કન્યાના થી લઇને સુનીતા વિલિયમ્સ સાહસની વાત હું કરું તો ગુજરાતણ તરીકે હંમેશાં મને ગર્વ થાય છે. પણ સાથે એક દુખ પણ થાય છે કે ગુજરાતમાં ઘરેલું હિંસા વધતી જાય છે. ગુજરાતમાં મહિલાઓ માટેની યોજનાઓ માત્ર કાગળ પર જ રહી જાય છે, ત્યારે ગુજરાત સરકારે મહિલાઓનો વિચાર કરીને કાર્યક્રમો યોજવા જોઇએ.
