While bandh in Nowshera and Kalakote towns continued in support of public demand, a special delegation of senior Government officers led by Divisional Commissioner Jammu visited these towns besides Sunderbani and held talks with the Joint Action Committee (JAC) members to resolve the 28th days long issue.

    Bandh continues in Nowshera, Sunderbani, Kalakote

    Indefinite bandh continued in the township of Nowshera on the 19th consecutive day on Tuesday for seeking district status, ten more members of Joint Action Committee sat on relay hunger strike today, whereas, Sunderbani and Kalakote towns of district Rajouri also observed bandh in support of their demand of Additional Deputy Commissioner’s posts.
