પેડમેન મૂવી આવ્યા બાદ છેલ્લા થોડા દિવસથી સેનેટરી પેડને લઈને ઘણી ચર્ચાઓ થઈ રહી છે. અને આ મુદ્દો ઘણો મહત્વનો પણ છે. ત્યારે સમાજમાં આવું જ કંઈક મહત્વનું કામ કરી રહ્યા છે સુરતના પેડ કપલ. જી હાં સુરતમાં છેલ્લા પાંચ વર્ષથી એક કપલ ગરીબ દિકરીઓ સુધી સેનેટરી પેડ પહોંચાડવાનું કામ કરી રહ્યા છે. તેમનું માનવું છે કે ગરીબોને ખાવાનું અને ઓઢવાનું પહોંચાડવું જેટલું જરૂરી છે તેના કરતા બે ગણુ વધારે જરૂરી છે બહેન દિકરીઓ સુધી સેનેટરી પેડ પહોંચાડવાનું કામ.

    സാനിറ്ററി നാപ്കിൻ സ്കൂളിലെ ടോയ്‌ലെറ്റിൽ കണ്ടതിനെ തുടർന്ന് വിദ്യാർഥിനികളെ വസ്ത്രമുരിഞ്ഞു അധ്യാപികമാർ പരിശോധന നടത്തി. പഞ്ചാബിലെ ഫസില്‍ക്ക ജില്ലയിലെ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്കൂളിലാണ് സംഭവം. അധ്യാപികയുടെ പരിശോധനയ്ക്കിടെ കരയുന്ന വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിനികളുടെ വീഡിയോ പുറത്ത് വന്നതോടെയാണ് സംഭവം പുറത്ത് അറിയുന്നത്. സംഭവം പുറത്തറിഞ്ഞതോടെ പരിശോധന നടത്തിയ രണ്ട് അധ്യാപികമാരെ സ്കൂളില്‍ നിന്ന് ട്രാന്‍സ്ഫര്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ പഞ്ചാബ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. മൂന്നു ദിവസം മുന്‍പായിരുന്നു വസ്ത്രമഴിച്ചുള്ള പരിശോധന നടന്നത്.സാനിറ്ററി പാഡ് കൃത്യമായി നശിപ്പിക്കണ്ടത് എങ്ങനെയെന്ന് ബോധവല്‍ക്കരണം നടത്തുന്നതിന് പകരം ഇത്തരം പരിശോധന നടന്നതില്‍ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് അന്വേഷണം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അന്വേഷണ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് വന്നതിന് പിന്നാലെ അധ്യാപികമാര്‍ക്കെതിരെ കൂടുതല്‍ നടപടികള്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുമെന്ന് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് വിശദമാക്കി. അന്വേഷണ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് സംബന്ധിച്ച് കൃത്യമായ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിക്കണമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അമരിന്ദര്‍ സിങ് നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
