JAMMU LINKS NEWS | A group of Congress workers in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir today threatened to quit the party if the sitting legislator from Inderwal seat, G M Saroori, is retained as its candidate in the next assembly polls.

The public bickering in the Congress came a month after former minister Sham Lal Sharma resigned as senior vice president of the state unit in protest against J&K party chief G A Mir's alleged failure to address the issues faced by the people of Jammu region.

  • Srinagar-Jammu highway closed due to landslide

    JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Fresh landslide in Udhampur district forced the closure of the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Monday.

    A Traffic Department official said no traffic would be allowed on the highway following the landslides that occurred on Kheri road in Udhampur.

  • Terrorists abduct Pulwama man from his residence, cops find his bullet-riddled body in nearby fields

    JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Terrorists on Monday barged into the house of a resident and abducted him in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place in Pulwama's Murran. This incident took place on Sunday night.

    Identified as Gulzar Bhat, his bullet-riddled body was recovered from nearby fields.
