उत्‍तर प्रदेश के मुख्‍यमंत्री योगी आदित्‍यनाथ ने जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर में भाजपा के पीडीपी से समर्थन वापसी पर बयान देते हुए कहा कि जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर में भाजपा ने बहुत प्रयास किया था. केन्‍द्र सरकार ने जो प्रयास प्रारम्‍भ किए वो वास्‍तव में जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर और देश के हित में बेहतर प्रयास थे. तीन वर्ष पहले कश्‍मीर में भीषण बाढ़ आई थी. केन्‍द्र सरकार और प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी ने वहां जाकर दीपावली वहां मना करके और सेना ने जिस प्रकार से वहां पर सहायता दी थी. जो कार्य किए थे. उन स्थितियों में जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर के अंदर जम्‍मू रीजन में भाजपा भारी बहुमत से जीती थी. कश्‍मीर में पीडीपी जीती थी. पिछले तीन वर्षों से लगातार प्रयास करने के बाद एक इस बात के आसार बनाने के पूरे प्रयास हुए थे कि जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर के अंदर बीजेपी-पीडीपी मिल करके वहां की जनभावनाओं के अनुरूप बेहतर कार्य कर सके. उस दिशा में एक प्रयास प्रारम्‍भ कर सके. आज जब भाजपा केन्‍द्रीय नेतृत्‍व को इस बात का आभास हुआ तो स्‍वाभाविक रूप से वहां के स्‍थानीय नेताओं के साथ वहां के उप मुख्‍यमंत्री, मंत्री और विधायक को विश्‍वास में लेने के बाद जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर और देश के व्‍यापक हित को ध्‍यान में रखते हुए यह कदम भाजपा ने उठाया है. मुझे लगता है कि देश के हित और जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर के हित में ये बड़ा कदम है
