People should not pelt stones at army: DGP Vaid
JAMMU LINKS NEWS | The top cop of Jammu and Kashmir today appealed to people not to go near the encounter sites and pelt stones at security forces in order to avoid loss of lives as army is their own.
"We are saddened if someone dies in this way. That is why we have been appealing that wherever there is an encounter, people should not go there to pelt stones on the army. This is our own army," Director General of Police S P Vaid told reporters.
Vaid said he could feel the pain of the family that looses its child in such incidents.

नोटबंदी ने तोड़ा लोगों के सब्र का बांध...कैश नहीं मिलने से फूटा लोगों का गुस्सा...बैंक में आक्रोशित लोगों ने चलाए लाठी-डंडे...ये तस्वीरें हैं पश्चिम बंगाल के मालदा ज़िले की...जहां कैश के लिए लाइन में लगे लोगों की हिम्मत इस कदर टूटी कि उन्होंने सड़क पर ही संग्राम छेड़ दिया... मालदा में जब लोगों को एसबीआई ब्रांच और एटीएम से कैश नहीं मिला...तो वो भड़क गए...और कैश की कमी से जूझ रहे लोगों ने अपना गुस्सा बैंक ब्रांच और उसके एटीएम पर उतारा...इस वीडियो में आप साफ देख सकते हैं कि नोटबंदी से बेहाल ये शख्स किस तरह बैंक के शटर पर डंडे बरसा रहा है...दरअसल रतुआ में एसबीआई बैंक की शाखा में लोग घंटों लाइन में इसी उम्मीद से खड़े थे...कि वो ज़रूरत के हिसाब कुछ बैंक से पैसा निकाल सकेंगे...लेकिन जब बैंक खुला को ग्राहकों को बताया गया कि उन्हें केवल 1,000 रुपये मिलेंगे..इससे कुछ उपभोक्ताओं ने पहले तो कम से कम 2000 रुपये नकदी देने के लिए आग्रह किया, लेकिन जब पता चला कि शाखा में पर्याप्त नकदी नहीं है तो उनका गुस्सा भड़क गया और उन्होंने पथराव कर दिया। इतना ही नहीं आक्रोशित लोगों ने शाखा के निकट एक बंद पडे एटीएम को भी तोड़ डाला...कुछ देर तक चले इस संग्राम के बाद मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने जैसे-तैसे लोगों को शांत करवाया और हालातों पर काबू पाया।
