सपा के जिला पंचायत के पूर्व अध्यक्ष लाखन सिंह अपने कई ज़िला पंचायत सदस्यों के साथ आज सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट से मिले और उनको एक ज्ञापन दिया उनकी मांग थी पूर्व जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष अब्दुल सलाम और उनकी पत्नी के कार्यकाल में जितने विकास कार्य हुए है उनकी जांच की जाये रामपुर के सियासी लोग और सियासत हमेशा सुर्खियों में रहती है पिछली सपा सरकार में जिला पंचायत के अध्यक्ष लाखन सिंह थे लेकिन जैसे ही सत्ता परिवर्तन हुआ और यूपी में भाजपा की सरकार बनी तो कुछ दिन बाद ही सपा के जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष लाखन सिंह को अपनी कुर्सी गवानी पड़ी और ,ज्यादातर ज़िला पंचायत सदस्य भाजपा के पक्ष में आ गये थे इस लिए चन्द्रपाल सिंह को जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष बनाया गया 2005 से 2015 तक अब्दुल सलाम और उनकी पत्नी ज़ाहिद सलाम ज़िला पंचायत की अध्यक्ष थी और सपा के जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष को हटाने में उनकी अहम भूमिका थी अब सपा के पूर्व जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष लाखन सिंह ने अपने 8 ज़िला पंचायत सदस्यों को लेकर ये ज्ञापन दिया है उनकी माँग है अब्दुल सलाम और उनकी पत्नी के कार्यकाल में हुए विकास कार्यो की जांच कराई जाए सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट ओम प्रकाश ने बताया के सपा के पूर्व जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष की मांग थी 2005 से 2015 के विकास कार्यों की जांच कराई जाये इस सम्बंध में ये पहले भी शिकायत कर चुके है अब इसकी जांच कराई जायेंगी
