Основная идея фильма заключается в том, что архитектура -- это метафора цивилизаций. На примере пяти сооружений современной архитектуры Индии представлена зарождающаяся в Индии эстетика дизайна. В фильме рассматриваются пять монументальных работ таких архитекторов как Раджеш Ранганатхан, Прем Чандаванкер, Санджай Мохе, Бимал Пател и Радж Ревал. Эти работы кажутся непохожими, но в фильме показано их созвучие. В итоге, мы видим мириады путей, посредством которых эти архитекторы комбинировали игру света и ландшафта для создания пространства, сливающегося с природной энергией. Проницательный анализ сооружений профессором А.Г.К. Меноном раскрывает новые веяние современности, которые находятся в тесном диалоге с традицией трансформировать место в пространство.
