"المسلمان" -- الحفاظ على الحلم

لعل صحيفة "المسلمان" هي آخر صحيفة تكتب بخط اليد في العالم. لقد ظلت تنشر وتقرأ يومياً في مدينة تشيناي جنوب الهند منذ عام 1927 بنفس الشكل تقريباً. وبالقرب من مسجد والاجاه في تشيناي، لا زال ستة من العاملين المجتهدين يعكفون على إخراج هذه الصحيفة المكتوبة بخط اليد. أربعة منهم كتبة متخصصون في الكتابة الأردية القديمة وهي عملية شاقة بالنسبة لهم. ولكن قصة الفيلم لا تتعلق بمشاعر اليأس والإحباط لديهم وحسب، ولكنها تتعلق بحقيقة أنه لا أحد من العاملين يغادر مكتب هذه الصحيفة التي تعد أقدم صحيفة يومية باللغة الأردية في الهند. فهم يعملون حتى يوافيهم الموت. وهذا هو موضوع الفيلم.
