Addressing a rally in Lucknow on March 2, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi boasted about his state's per capita income and compared it with Uttar Pradesh. Compared to a historically backward state like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat with a per capita income of Rs 89,668 came out shining. Modi failed to mention that Gujarat was way behind 7 other states/UTs in terms of Per Capita Income such as Delhi (Rs 173,686), Goa (Rs 167,383), Chandigarh (Rs 142,869), Sikkim (Rs 124, 791), Haryana (Rs 108,345), Puducherry (Rs 102,859), Maharashtra (Rs 95,339)

What a remarkable turnaround it has been for Kuldeep Yadav after enduring a rough patch in the last couple of years. On Thursday (April 28), the left-arm wrist-spinner took his second four-wicket haul of the season against his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, guiding Delhi Capitals to a four-wicket triumph. In fact, DC have so far won four games this season and Kuldeep has been named the Player of the Match every single time.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep’s friend and long-time partner Yuzvendra Chahal has also been sensational in IPL 2022. While Chahal is currently the tournament’s highest wicket-taker with 18 scalps, Kuldeep, with 17 wickets, stands at the second place. Following the conclusion of the game, Kuldeep made it crystal clear that there’s no rivalry between the ‘KulCha’ duo as Chahal motivated him during his tough times.
“There has never been competition with him (Chahal). He has encouraged me a lot. He has been like a big brother and stood by me during my bad times. In my heart, I want him to go and win the Purple Cap because he has been bowling exceptionally over the past four years,” said Kuldeep after the game.
The 27-year-old further said the period when he was struggling to get wickets has made him mentally strong. “I might have become a better bowler, but I am mentally stronger than before. Now the billionaires are rushing into the business of poor vegetable vendors and thella walas. The competition is often fierce for these products, and the ever stricter requirements. Indian consumers are willing to pay a premium to get hygienic and nutritional daily essentials, prompting exporters of horticulture produce to draw strategies for the domestic market. With the emergence of the e-commerce players Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Fresh, Dunzo, Ninjacart, Bigbasket and Udaan, it seems suddenly the issue of Food safety and hygiene have become very important for consumers today. All the credit goes to the Covid, it has accelerated the process dramatically for enhancing the last-mile delivery of quality food.
There are certain business houses that come out with a value proposition like, they are supplying high-standard fruits and vegetables that are grown by the company in close collaboration with farmers in the domestic market . India's food retailing industry is close to $300 billion according to E&Y, and only 10 percent is organised. The e-tail companies are even claiming farm-fresh fruits and vegetables to reach the consumer's doorstep in a more organised and professional format – through an app. It is all about, e-commerce companies bring convenience, by providing an organised retailing experience at the consumer’s doorstep. The advertisements and branding are talking about innovative displays and a variety of products consumers are found to appreciate the good agricultural practices and are ready to pay a premium for it. Whereas the street vegetable vendors are not able to showcase all this through the technology.
