    സുരക്ഷിതവും സുഗമവുമായ ഗതാഗതം എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യവുമായി കുതിപ്പ് തുടരുന്ന ദുബായ് മെട്രോക്ക് പുതിയ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും സംവിധാനങ്ങളുെമാരുങ്ങി. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സ്മാർട്ട്കാർഡുകൾ വഴി പണം നൽകാവുന്ന സംവിധാനവും നടപ്പിലാക്കി.ഇതുപ്രകാരം സാംസങ് പേ, ആപ്പിൾ പേ തുടങ്ങിയ മാർഗങ്ങളിലൂടെയും ഇനി പണമടയ്ക്കാം. ഇതിനായി മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ ടിക്കറ്റിങ് മെഷിനിൽ കാണിച്ചാൽ മതിയാകും. ഇതിന് പുറമെ റെഡ് ലൈനിലേയും ഗ്രീൻ ലൈനിലേയും സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ സ്മാർട്ട് പേയ്‌മെന്റ് സംവിധാനം നിലവിൽ വന്നു. വിവിധ സിറ്റി സെന്റർ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ 13 ഗേറ്റുകളും പുതുതായി സജ്ജമാക്കി. ഒരാഴ്ചയ്ക്കകം പതിനായിരത്തിലധികം പേരാണ് പുതിയ ഗേറ്റുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. എക്‌സ്‌പോ 2020 ന്റെ ഭാഗമായി മെട്രോയുടെ സംവിധാനങ്ങളും സൗകര്യങ്ങളും കൂടുതൽ നവീകരിക്കും.'
