Rahul Gandhi visits Jammu & Kashmir, attacks Modi govt
In a clear dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying he was playing the drum while the country faced a plethora of problems, referring to Modi's playing traditional Japanese Taiko drums during his five-day tour of Japan. "The Prime Minister is playing drum while here there is no power, no water and vegetable prices are shooting up," Rahul told reporters when asked to comment about the NDA government's 100 days during his recent visit to Amethi.

Rahul Gandhi visits Jammu Kashmir to meet the flood-affected people
Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi visited Jammu and Kashmir for the first time since it was struck by devastating floods on Monday and assured that their party is with the people of the state and assured all help to mitigate their suffering. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had asked all Youth Congress, NSUI and Seva Dal volunteers to pitch in with help for the flood-affected state of Jammu and Kashmir, where nearly four lakh people are still stranded. The party has also set up a Relief Committee for the state comprising its J-K unit chief Saifuddin Soz, senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and several ministers and leaders.
