When the Congress-led UPA Government was sandwiched between the opposition and heaps of allegations and it is under severe attack from all corners for their alleged lack of efficiency in handling the corruption, spiralling price hike or sky-touching inflation, it is Rahul Gandhi, who spearheaded the Congress campaign, highlighting various pro-people Government schemes implemented by the Centre. Rahul Gandhi had been silently continuing his mission to strengthen Congress back by creating ripples in the opposite camp.

When Kalka mail accident had taken place he immediately had visited the hospital to meet the accident victims. All these interventions helped to bring a confidence among the people and gave them a hope that there is someone who stands with them and helps them in crisis.
