राजिम तीन नदियों का संगम है इसलिए इसे त्रिवेणी संगम भी कहा जाता है, यह मुख्य रूप से तीन नदिया बहती है, जिनके नाम क्रमश महानदी, पैरी नदी तथा सोढुर नदी है, संगम स्थल पर कुलेश्वर महादेव जी विराजमान है, --- राजिम कुम्भ को प्रति वर्ष होने वाले कुम्भ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, कुछ वर्ष पहले यह एक मेले का स्वरुप था यहाँ प्रतिवर्ष माघ पूर्णिमा से महाशिवरात्रि तक पंद्रह दिनों का मेला लगता है
