कोरिया जिले के मनेन्द्रगढ़ विकाशखण्ड चनवारीडाँड़ और बोरीडाँड़ ग्राम पंचायत में बीते कुछ साल से पीने के पानी की समस्या बनी हुई थी । इस समस्या की जानकारी यहाँ के जनप्रतिनिधियों ने प्रशासन को समय समय पर दी। ग्रामीणों की समस्या को देखते हुए जिला प्रशासन ने पीने का पानी उपलब्ध करवाने एक समग्र कार्य योजना बनाई है जिस पर अब काम भी चल रहा है। इन दोनों ही ग्राम पंचायतों में पीने के पानी का संकट का स्थाई हल कैसे दूर हो इसके लिये कलेक्टर नरेंद्र दुग्गा ने ग्राम पंचायत ,वन विभाग , जलसंसाधन विभाग , पीएचई विभाग तथा भूमि संरक्षण विभाग को मिलाकर एक कार्ययोजना बनाई है
