एएमयू परिसर में मोहम्मद अली जिन्ना की तस्वीर को लेकर हरियाणा के वित्त मंत्री कैप्टन अभिमन्यु ने विवादित बयान दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि एएमयू का नाम जाट राजा महेन्द्र प्रताप सिंह के नाम पर रखा जाना चाहिए. रेवाड़ी में एक जाट धर्मशाला के भूमिपूजन कार्यक्रम के दौरान जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा , ‘‘ मैं एएमयू का नामकरण राजा महेन्द्र प्रताप सिंह के नाम पर करने की मांग करता हूं

  • सांसद का AMU VC को पत्र - तालिबानी मानसिकता से चल रहा AMU

    AMU में एक पोस्टर के ताजा विवाद को लेकर अलीगढ के सांसद ने कुलपति के नाम एक पत्र लिखा है। सांसद ने अपने लिखे पत्र में AMU प्रशासन पर आरोप लगाए हैं की AMU में देश विरोधी और सरकार विरोधी कृत्यों का समय समय पर महिमा मंडान किया जाता है। एक विवादास्पद नाटक भी इंतजामिया की मदद से किया जा रहा था ,जिसके लिए जो होर्डिंग लगाए गए थे उसमे भारत के नक्से से कश्मीर को ही गायब दिखाया गया था। ये घटना बहुत गंभीर है। यहाँ के छात्र निरंकुश हैं।
    सांसद ने कहा कि यहाँ ऐसी हरकते की जाती हैं जिस से देश विदेश में AMU की छवि धूमिल होती है। इसलिए उन्होंने वीसी को पत्र लिखा है की आपके द्वारा कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की जाती। लगता है की ऐसे मामलों में AMU का समर्थन उनको मिलता है। वीसी द्वारा सांसद के पत्र का जवाब ना देने पर उन्होंने कहा की में उनको कोर्ट में खड़ा करूँगा। यहाँ के छात्र अगर अपनी हरकतों से बाज नहीं आये तो उनके खिलाफ कठोर कार्यवाही की जायेगी।
