'ഒരുപാട് വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പുള്ള ഒരു പിറന്നാള്‍ ചിത്രമാണ് ഇത്. ഉറങ്ങാന്‍ പോലും അനുവദിക്കാതെ ഒരു മുറിയില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ബന്ധനസ്ഥയാക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പെടുത്ത ചിത്രം. വളരെക്കുറിച്ചു ഭക്ഷണം കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ് ജീവന്‍ നിലനിര്‍ത്തിയത്. ശാരീരികവും മാനസീകവുമായി ഞാന്‍ അത്രയധികം ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഉറങ്ങാന്‍ അനുവാദം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. ഈ ചിത്രം അവന്റെ പിറന്നാള്‍ സമ്മാനമായിരുന്നു. അന്ന് അത്താഴത്തിനു പോകുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് അവന്‍ എന്നെ നിര്‍ത്താതെ ശകാരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അവന് പുറത്തു പോകാന്‍ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല അതിന്റെ പേരിലായിരുന്നു ശകാരം. എനിക്ക് അന്നും ഇന്നും അത് ശരിയായി തോന്നുന്നില്ല. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ ചിരിയും പൊള്ളത്തരവും കണ്ണിലെ ഭയവും എനിക്കു മാത്രമേ തിരിച്ചറിയാനാകു.അയാളുടെ മോശപ്പെട്ട സ്വഭാവം വര്‍ഷങ്ങളോളാം ഞാന്‍ സഹിച്ചു. എസ്‌മേയുടെ വാക്കുകള്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ പോകുന്നു .ജീവിതത്തിലുണ്ടായ മോശം അനുഭവങ്ങൾ തനിക്കു സമ്മാനിച്ചത് പേടിസ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ മാത്രമല്ലെന്നും പോസ്റ്റ് ട്രോമാറ്റിക് സ്ര്ടെസ് ഡിസോർഡർ എന്ന രോഗാവസ്ഥയും കൂടിയാണെന്നും താ
