Jharkhand polls: At Chaibasa rally, Rahul Gandhi says Modi works only for selected industrialists

Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi, on Friday termed Narendra Modi as industrialists' prime minister, during electioneering in Jharkhand's Chaibasa. The assembly polls in Jharkhand began from November 25. Campaigning for the second phase is on voting for which is slated for December 02. The Congress party vice-president questioned that were these the "good days" which they had promised before the elections?

    Congress party vice president Rahul Gandhi addressed a mammoth election rally at Godda in poll bound Jharkhand. Addressing the rally, the Congress leader accused the ruling government at the Centre of being pro-industrialist. “They only want to work for a few industrialists because they are the ones who fund their campaigns,” he said. “BJP ruled Jharkhand for ten years but the state remained under-developed,” the AICC leader said.

He also said that before general elections Modi asked the citizens to sit back and he would work for him but after polls he himself sets out for a world tour and says the people to pick broom and clean up the nation, it is highly contradictory. The five-phased state assembly polls in Jharkhand will end on December 20. The results of which would be announced on December 23.
