बर्फ के वजह से गुलमर्ग की सुंदरता में चार चाँद लगते थे, जो कि पर्यटकों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करती थी, जिसके चलते पर्यटन उद्योग को बढ़ावा मिलता था। लेकिन विश्व प्रसिद्ध पर्यटक स्थल गुलमर्ग में इस बार बर्फ की कमी स्थानीय लोगों के लिए चिंता का विषय बनी हुई है। सर्दी के मौसम में कश्मी र घाटी बर्फ की मोटी चादर से लिपटी नजर आती है.लेकिन इस सर्दी में तस्वीर कुछ अलग दिखायी दे रही है, इस बार भी कश्मीर में कड़ाके की ठंड तो पड़ रही है, लेक‍िन हैरान करने वाली बात यह है क‍ि कश्मी्र का गुलमर्ग जो क‍ि स्कीठइंग करने वालों के ल‍िए बेहद पसंदीदा जगह मानी जाती है, इस बार वहां बर्फ से ढकी चोट‍ियां तो दूर बर्फ पूरी तरह से गायब हो गई है. अब स‍िर्फ पत्थ र और म‍िट्टी नजर आ रही है…
