राज्यमंत्री कु आदिती तटकरे यांच्या हस्ते बास्केटबॉल कोर्टचे लोकार्पण
नगर शहर आणि जिल्ह्यात क्रीडा विषयक वातावरण चांगले आहे. येथील क्रीडा संस्कृतीला बळ देण्यासाठी आवश्यक ते सर्व सहकार्य करू आणि अधिकाधिक भरीव निधी देण्याचा प्रयत्न करू, असे प्रतिपादन राज्याच्या उद्योग आणि खनिकर्म, पर्यटन, फलोत्‍पादन, क्रीडा व युवक कल्‍याण, राजशिष्‍टाचार, माहिती व जनसंपर्क, विधि व न्‍याय राज्यमंत्री कु. आदिती तटकरे यांनी केले.
आमदार संग्राम जगताप यांच्या स्थानिक विकास निधीतून मंजूर झालेल्या बास्केट बॉल कोर्टचे उद्घाटन आणि लोकार्पण शनिवारी सायंकाळी राज्यमंत्री कु. आदिती तटकरे यांच्या हस्ते सावेडी येथील जॉगिंग ट्रॅक वर झाले. त्यावेळी त्या बोलत होत्या. आमदार संग्राम जगताप यांच्यासह स्थानिक नगरसेवक, पदाधिकारी, क्रीडा प्रशिक्षक,खेळाडू, क्रीडाप्रेमी नागरिक मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.
यावेळी बोलताना राज्यमंत्री कु. तटकरे म्हणाल्या, आज खऱ्या अर्थाने तरुण पिढीला त्यांच्यासाठी आवश्यक मूलभूत क्रीडा सुविधांची गरज आहे. आपल्या राज्यातील होतकरू तरुणांना चांगल्या सुविधा मिळाल्या तर येथील खेळाडू ऑलिम्पिक पर्यंत पोहोचतील. क्रीडा विभागाच्या राज्यमंत्री म्हणून माझे याकडे लक्ष आहे. नगर जिल्ह्यातील क्रीडा संस्थांकडून जे प्रस्ताव येतील त्यांना प्राधान्य देण्याचा निश्चित प्रयत्न करू, असे त्या म्हणाल्या.
नगर येथे जिल्हा क्रीडा संकुल आहे. त्याठिकाणी खेळाडूंना अधिक सुविधा निर्माण करण्यासाठी जे आवश्यक आहे त्यासाठीं निश्र्चित मदत करू, असे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले. आमदार जगताप यांच्या विकास निधीतून तयार झालेले बास्केटबॉल कोर्ट येथील खेळाडूसाठी उपयुक्त ठरेल, असा विश्र्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला.
जिल्ह्यातील पर्यटन वाढीच्या दृष्टीनेही जे प्रयत्न जिल्ह्यात होत आहेत. त्याला मदत करण्याची राज्य शासनाची भूमिका आहे. येथील ऐतिहासिक किल्ला विकासासाठी निधी उपलब्ध करून दिला असल्याची माहितीही त्यांनी दिली.
जिल्ह्यातील क्रीडा विकासासाठी सर्वांनी मिळून काम करण्याची गरज आहे. त्यासाठी बास्केटबॉल कोर्टच्या माध्यमातून सुरुवात आपण केली आहे. नगर शहरामध्ये क्रीडा संस्कृती चांगली आहे. आपल्या माध्यमातून यासाठी भरीव मदत करावी, अशी अपेक्षा यावेळी आमदार जगताप यांनी व्यक्त केली.
