    TELANGANA IS THE ONLY STATE TO HAVE WAIVED OFF LARGE AMOUNT OF LOANS IN INDIA SAYS CM REVANTH REDDY

    స్వతంత్ర భారత చరిత్రలో ఇప్పటి వరకు ఏ రాష్ట్రం తలపెట్టలేనంత పెద్ద మొత్తంలో రైతులకు రుణమాఫీ చేస్తూ తెలంగాణ ప్రజాప్రభుత్వం రికార్డు నెలకొల్పిందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు.

    తొలి విడతలో రూ.1లక్షలోపు రుణాలు మాఫీ, రెండో విడతలో రూ.1.50లక్షల లోపు రుణాల మాఫీ కింద 12 రోజుల వ్యవధిలోనే లక్షల మంది రైతుల ఖాతాల్లోకి రూ.12,224 కోట్లను జమ చేశామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రకటించారు. శాసనసభ ప్రాంగణంలో మంగళవారం రెండో విడత రుణమాఫీకి సంబంధించిన చెక్కును రైతుల చేతికి సీఎం అందజేశారు. మంగళవారం మధ్యాహ్నం 12 గంటల నుంచే రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా రైతుల ఖాతాల్లోకి రుణమాఫీ నిధులు జమ అయ్యే ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభమైంది.

    మాట ఇచ్చిన విధంగా ఆగస్టులోనే మూడో విడత చేపట్టి మొత్తం రూ.31వేల కోట్ల రుణమాఫీ ప్రక్రియను పూర్తిచేస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. దేశ చరిత్రలో ఏ రాష్ట్రం కూడా ఇంత స్వల్ప వ్యవధిలో ఇంత పెద్ద మొత్తంలో రైతులకు రుణమాఫీ చేయలేదని, ఆ ఘనత తెలంగాణ ప్రజాప్రభుత్వానికే దక్కడం గర్వంగా ఉందని సీఎం అన్నారు.

  • SBI under-reported bad loans by RS 11,932 crore in FY19, finds RBI report

    New Delhi: The country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBINSE -1.04 %) on Tuesday reported about Rs 12,000 crore divergence in their bad loans for the last fiscal.As per the assessment done by the RBI, the gross NPA of SBI was Rs 11,932 crore more at Rs 1,84,682 crore as against Rs 1,72,750 crore reported by the bank for 2018-19, SBI said in a regulatory filing.
