मंडी। नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर के गृह जिला मंडी नगर निगम को आज मेयर और डिप्टी मेयर मिल गए। आज बीजेपी के वीरेंद्र भट्ट को मंडी नगर निगम का मेयर व माधुरी कपूर डिप्टी मेयर चुना गया। एडीसी निवेदिता नेगी ने मेयर और डिप्टी मेयर को पद व गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई।नवनिर्वाचित मेयर वीरेंद्र भट्ट वार्ड 2 पुरानी मंडी के पार्षद है। नगर निगम मंडी में कुल 15 पार्षद हैं। इनमें 11 बीजेपी और चार कांग्रेस पार्षद हैं। आज करीब 42 दिन बाद नए चेहरे नगर निगम मंडी के डिप्टी व मेयर की कुर्सी पर विराजमान हुए हैं।
